Early Life

Dr. Anthony Cordisco was born and raised in Burlington, New Jersey. He attended Saint Paul’s Grammar School and graduated from Burlington Township High School.

Education

He graduated from Villanova University with a B.S. in Biology and Pre-Med and was inducted in the National Pre-Medical Honor Society.

After earning his Doctorate in 1983 from the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine, he continued his training and served his residency in foot surgery at the Metropolitan hospital (Springfield Division) where he won the Outstanding Surgical Resident Award.

 

Dr. Cordisco received specialized training in sports medicine and was Chief Podiatrist of both the Delaware County Memorial Hospital Sports Medicine Institute and the Holy Redeemer Hospital Sports Medicine Center where he treated professional and amateur athletes. He was a consultant to the Philadelphia Stars U.S.F.L. professional football team and treated members of the Pennsylvania Ballet under the direction of Pat Croce and Dr. Nicholas Dinubile.

Dr. Cordisco is a noted lecturer and the author of numerous medical articles in professional and trade journals.

Office

He has been at his Burlington Township office location for thirty years. He is an active member in the Burlington Township community and is a life member to the Beverly Road Fire Company and Knights of Columbus. In 2015, he was selected as One of the Best Podiatrist by the Burlington County Times.

Credentials

He is a member of The American Podiatric Medical Association, New Jersey Podiatric Medical Association, Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine Alumni Association, Lourdes Hospital, Villanova University Alumni Association and serves on the faculty of the Goldfarb Foundation Board Certification Review Course in Podiatric Surgery training future Podiatric surgeons.

Dr. Cordisco golfs, plays guitar and is an avid music fan of genres including Jazz, Blues and Rock. He has been married 30 years to his wife Angela and has three children.
